Terms and Conditions for Stained Glass Toolkit Hire
1. General Agreement
By hiring a toolkit, you agree to treat all tools and materials with care and respect, and to return them in good working condition.
2. Bond / Deposit
A refundable bond is required for each toolkit.
The bond amount is personalised, depending on:
- The specific tools and materials included in your kit; and
- The current condition and replacement value of these items.
If some tools are brand new, the bond will be higher; if tools are nearing the end of their life, the bond may be lower. This helps ensure fair value for both parties and reflects the varying lifespan of different items.
3. Return of Toolkit
- Toolkit items must be returned clean, complete, and in working condition.
- Toolkits should be returned soon after the course ends, unless we’ve made another arrangement.
- If any items are missing or damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear, their replacement cost will be deducted from the bond.
- If you decide you’d like to keep certain tools, just let us know and the bond will simply be adjusted to reflect this.
4. Shipping and Return
- Toolkits are not shipped with a pre-paid return label, because of the option of keeping certain tools.
- You are responsible for packaging the items securely for return shipping.
- Send your toolkit items back to: Studio127, 127 Myttton Heights, 7196 Motueka (RD1)
5. Loss or Damage in Transit
All toolkits are sent using NZ Post tracked parcels. Standard NZ Post compensation applies in case of loss or damage during shipping. If you would like additional insurance cover for the return shipment, please request this before dispatch. Once the toolkit has been handed to NZ Post, responsibility for transit loss or damage rests with the carrier.
6. Bond Refund
Once the toolkit has been safely returned and checked, your bond will be refunded within 5 working days (minus any deductions for items kept, or for lost or damaged items, if applicable).
By hiring a toolkit, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
