Summer Arts Festival Golden Bay – Land Art Workshop
- Step into the serene natural beauty of Golden Bay and immerse yourself in a unique artistic experience that nurtures the soul and connects you with the land.
- Whether you’re seeking a day of mindfulness, creative inspiration, or simply a break from the rush of everyday life, this workshop offers a space to pause, breathe, and create.

Conceptual Art
- How do the materials you work with express meaning? How to create a strong conceptual artwork?

Leporello – an intriguing accordion-style artwork with a personal storyline
- Combine personal expression with visual storytelling
- Transform a personal theme into a cohesive, meaningful and intriguing piece of art

Stained Glass Ornament (native bird, plant, or flower)
- Beginner-friendly stained glass workshop where you’ll create a stunning ornament featuring a native bird, plant, or flower.

- Dates: 9 (bird) or 30 (plant) March, 11 (flower) May

The ART behind Graphic Design
- Create your own series of images using different image making techniques, learn about the history of graphic design, design a full-scale personal typographic poster
- No computer skills or programmes required

Fabric printing on the gelliplate
- Create your own gelliplate at home before the workshop
- Learn how to print on paper and fabric

Guided Art Tour
5-day Guided Art Tour of Nelson, Tasman and Golden Bay – for women only
Sunday 22 – Friday 27 June 2025
Explore off-the-beaten-path locales, a small and intimate women only group, and dive into the (often quirky) local art scene! Fabulous, inspiring, and very good for the soul!
A van, a house for three nights in the Mapua / Moutere area, and a house for two nights in Golden Bay. Home-cooked meals and breakfast, lunch on the go. Slow=time at a variety of beaches, and maybe even a bit of land, sand and stone art.
