Workshops for every aspiring creative as well as thought-provoking art classes for seasoned artists seeking to deepen their craft. Offerings change regularly. See below for the details of what’s currently on.
Stained Glass Ornament
- Beginner-friendly stained glass workshop where you’ll create a stunning ornament featuring a native bird, geometric pattern, flower, or something nautical.
- Location: Greenacres Golf Club (Best Island – Richmond)
- Dates with spaces still available:
- 20 July (nautical)
- 25 July (nautical)
- 3 August (shardscapes: create art from glass pieces – a special edition workshop)
- 31 August (seascape, landscape, geometric pattern)
- Time: 10am – 5.30pm / 9.30am – 5pm
- Cost: $145 / $175 including materials


Drawing for Beginners
- Always wanted to draw but don’t know where to start? This beginner’s course is designed to help you build confidence, develop fundamental techniques, and explore a range of drawing materials. The course runs for 8 sessions.
- Location: Nelson or Richmond
- When: Friday mornings
- Dates: 5, 12, 19 September, 17, 24, 31 October, 7, 14 November
- Time: 10am – 12.30pm
- Cost: $350
2-Day Workshop: Stained Glass House
- Beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll create a personalised stained glass house
- Location: probably Greenacres Golf Club (Best Island – Richmond)
- Date & Cost:
- 14 + 15 August ($245 including materials)
- Register: on or before 31 July
- Time: 9.30am – 2.30pm both days


Illustration: Bring a Story to Life!
- Whether you’re drawn to characters, setting, or symbolism, we’ll work together to distill the heart of a narrative into a single compelling image or sequence.
- Location: Probably Greenacres Golf Club (Best Island – Richmond)

- Register: on or before 9 July
- Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Land, Sand and Stone Art – Workshop
- This full-day workshop is all about slowing down, getting creative, and connecting with nature through Land Art.
- Using natural materials like stones, leaves, sand, shells, and driftwood, you’ll create temporary artworks that celebrate the beauty of nature and change (or disappear) over time.
- Location: Rabbit Island
- Date: 29 June (alternative wet weather date 13 July), 29 August (alternative wet weather date 5 September)
