Always wanted to draw but don’t know where to start? This 8-session beginner’s course is designed to help you build confidence, develop fundamental techniques, and explore a range of drawing materials.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on course will guide you step by step from simple shapes to more complex still lifes and landscapes
Each session introduces a new technique, allowing you to build on your progress. We’ll start with basic shapes and shading, then move into textures, perspective, and composition. By the end of the course, you’ll have completed a variety of drawings and gained the skills to continue your artistic journey with confidence.

Location: Nelson or Richmond
What to bring: pencils, rubber, sketching paper, pen and ink, charcoal. You will receive a detailed list of basic materials after you’ve booked and closer to the date.
